Good morning RJ,

Our graduation coverage of county high schools begins this week! To start our newsletter, we take a look at the four valedictorians and one salutatorian from Santa Cruz Valley Union High School. These dedicated students have achieved great success in high school and will finally walk the stage this Thursday.

Speaking of dedicated students, the valedictorian at Coolidge High School says he is ready for the next challenge in his life. Angel Marquez will graduate from CHS with a 4.0 GPA and head to the University of Arizona to study biology.

Plus, as a whole, Coolidge High School students received a large number of scholarships to continue their academic endeavors. At their Honors Night, students were recognized for their achievements and it was announced that students were the recipients of $4.3 million in scholarships.
