Good afternoon RJ,

Those in Maricopa who enjoy outside recreation could see a change in the future. According to city staff, the Maricopa City Council is considering implementing a new fee structure for those who want to rent out city facilities in Maricopa. Read more about the possible changes to the facility rental policy.

Are you making plans for Juneteenth? If so, the community of Randolph will commemorate the holiday with a celebration on Saturday, June 17. At the celebration, speakers from Arizona State University and the NAACP will be in attendance. Local children will also be performing at the event.

And finally, the Maricopa Community Theatre put on a great show recently. Check out this Back Story about the group's production of "In the Heights," which took many hours of rehearsals to pull off.
