Internet service provider AireBeam announced it will begin construction of fiber-optic internet in Florence starting Monday, June 19. CEO Ben Elkins said in an interview with PinalCentral that the first customers could begin receiving service by mid-August.

In national news, former President Donald Trump arrived yesterday at the federal courthouse in Miami to surrender to authorities ahead of a historic court appearance on charges that he illegally hoarded classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
