Behind every story is a person. And often, you learn more about a story
or topic when you get to know the people involved. It adds another layer
of meaning to a story and, ultimately, what we take away from it.

In recent years, we at Pinal Ways began exploring in 2021. Our spring
issue that year was all about local nonprofits and, in that edition, we
published an article about Community Action Human Resources Agency celebrating 40 years; in that headline, our Managing
Editor Donovan Kramer Jr. put together the phrase "Pinal's people."
