Good morning and happy Saturday RJ,

Behind every story is a person. And often, you learn more about a story or topic when you get to know the people involved. It adds another layer of meaning to a story and, ultimately, what we take away from it.
Pinal's People shine
In recent years, we at Pinal Ways began exploring in 2021. Our spring issue that year was all about local nonprofits and, in that edition, we published an article about Community Action Human Resources Agency celebrating 40 years; in that headline, our Managing Editor Donovan Kramer Jr. put together the phrase "Pinal's people."
When it came time to revamp our web series "Pinal Spotlight," shifting to "Pinal's People" just made sense because the show is about recognizing those who have made an impact in our county. To mark the one-year anniversary of "Pinal's People," we decided to collect the interviews we completed in our first year and compile them into one issue — the Pinal's People edition. Whether you're holding a physical magazine copy or joining us digitally, here's an opportunity to kick back, relax and get to know Pinal's People. Read more about this in our editor's note.
