Good morning RJ,

Arizona cities are breaking records, but not the good kind of records. The extreme heat scorching Phoenix blazed into the record books Tuesday, the 19th consecutive day temperatures hit at least 110 degrees Fahrenheit in a summer of suffering echoing around much of the globe.

Furthermore, concerning the hot weather, reports are suggesting that the high temperatures are most harmful to some rural areas in the state. Read more about how the weather is affecting everyone.

Lastly, in the sports world, a change is coming to how fans can watch the Arizona Diamondbacks on TV. Major League Baseball will take over broadcasts of Arizona Diamondbacks games after a federal bankruptcy judge on Tuesday granted a motion for Diamond Sports to reject its rights agreement.
