We start today with the latest in crime news, as a 45-year-old man was arrested for 2nd-degree murder. Just before midnight on Saturday, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office was called to The Gym Bar and Grill on Hunt Highway in San Tan Valley regarding shots fired. The suspect was taken into custody and a firearm allegedly used in the shooting was secured.

In sports, the Casa Grande Union swim team is hoping that some of their talented athletes can still qualify for a spot at the state meet. Read more about the Cougar's chances to compete for a state championship.
