Good morning RJ,

We start today with news from Lucid Motors, as a battery pack overheated at the company's production facility, causing an evacuation amid light smoke. No one was injured, though some Lucid employees required medical evaluation.

In crime news, two suspects were arrested following an investigation into a robbery of the JCPenney store in Casa Grande. Police pieced the investigation together through surveillance footage, witness statements and local pawn shop leads to identify the suspects.

Plus, the Pinal County animal shelter is undergoing a major renovation that will give it a bigger lobby, an indoor meeting area, a clinic and more office space. Despite the $7 million project, more space to house animals is not included. Read more about the project.
